The prestige it has earned, as well as its position among the top ten schools in Spain, and being one of the 20 schools in Spain authorised to teach the full IB programme called IB Continuum, is due to the professionalism of the teaching staff who endeavour to give the students the very best education possible and to put within their reach the tools they need to make their dreams a reality, always bearing in mind the trust that all the families have placed in the school. It is a centre that thrives on the happiness of each pupil, ensuring they all meet their full potential. The Agora Sant Cugat International School educational project comprises three campuses: Agora Patufet Infant School, Agora Pipo Infant School and Agora Sant Cugat International School. These three campuses share the common objective of offering quality educational services, managing the satisfaction of parents, pupils, and staff, and promoting a culture of on-going improvement to achieve each pupil’s maximum potential.
Rich in history
The first school campus was founded in 1972: Agora Patufet Infant School, for children aged 0 to 6, is located in the centre Sant Cugat del Vallès. Through its active, creative, participatory, and experiential methodology, as well as its trilingual teaching, it has become a benchmark for Infant schools in the area. The school’s educational project is based on emotional education and self-esteem, so that the children feel loved and valued, always giving priority to the personalised attention for each pupil and for every need.
In 1989, the project of the second campus began: Agora Sant Cugat International School. This school offers a complete and broad education which goes from Infant Education to Baccalaureate. During these years the school has provided educational excellence and gained international recognition, proven by the magnificent academic and personal results achieved by our pupils, as well as the numerous awards won.
Today, Agora Sant Cugat, along with the other infant campuses, is one of the few centres in Spain authorised to teach the complete IB programme called IB Continuum. From its beginnings with the Primary Years Programme (PYP), it gives way to the Middle Years Programme (MYP) to end with the Diploma Programme (DP) in a 360º education, seeking to work on the skills which will make our pupils capable of changing the world.
