Our educational project

Agora Sant Cugat International School, Agora Pipo and Agora Patufet belong to the prestigious international group Globeducate, with more than 55 schools in 10 countries, and its educational project is defined by 5 distinctive elements: the International Baccalaureate as a model for the future, multilingualism, STEAM, sport and the commitment to provide our pupils with the tools to grow up as global citizens who can change the world.

IB: Un modelo de futuro

IB: An education for the future

The International Baccalaureate® (IB) offers a curriculum that is universally accepted by higher education institutions throughout the world. The programme delivers broad-based, academically demanding courses for students, who are guided along this journey by highly qualified, professional teachers working within an innovative educational framework. At Agora Sant Cugat International School we teach the Diploma Programme (DP) of the International Baccalaureate® (IB), which together with the Primary Years Programme (PYP) and the Middle Years Programme (MYP), makes our school one of the 20 schools in Spain authorised to teach what is known as the IB Continuum.

Multilingüismo

Multilingualism

We prepare our students for an international future. We offer a multilingual educational project, with linguistic immersion beyond English, which allows them to master the official languages along with English, French, German or Chinese. In terms of certifications, students can take exams at the school to obtain official qualifications from Trinity College London and Cambridge University (English), the Goethe Institute (German) and the Confucius Institute (Mandarin Chinese), as well as DELF certifications (French). To complete the linguistic programme, international events, exchanges and stays in different destinations are available.

Música y expresión

STEAM: Science and Arts

Art and science through STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math) competencies is a pedagogical approach that advocates collaborative work and the integration of highly related competencies. These 5 skills are key to children's all-round development, as they provide multiple cognitive and personal benefits. Agora Sant Cugat is a school linked to the Liceu Conservatory, offering the possibility of obtaining the Conservatory's Basic Level Diploma and guaranteeing the possibility of taking the entrance exam for the Professional Grade in Music.

Deportes y salud

Sports and Well-being

Sports help to develop and promote values such as perseverance, self-improvement and teamwork, as well as strengthening social skills. At all our Agora centres in Sant Cugat, we instill in our pupils a passion for sport and healthy lifestyle habits so that they become physically and emotionally balanced adults. Agora Sant Cugat has 13,715m2 of facilities, with a regulation artificial grass football pitch, two gyms, among others. In addition, at all three centres, we have an exclusive healthy dining programme with our own kitchen and cooks and nutritionists who will delight all pupils, taking into account their needs or allergies.

Shaping the world

Shaping the World

Children entering education today will graduate as young adults in 2030. We must prepare them for jobs and technologies that do not exist today, to solve problems that have not yet been foreseen. As a school in the Globeducate group, we are committed to the United Nations 2030 Sustainable Development Goals, which is why we have reached agreements with internationally renowned organisations such as Eco-Schools and WWF (World Wildlife Fund), driving projects to mobilise a community of over 100,000 people. We must encourage our students to take charge and shape their own future: we want them to be global citizens who can shape the world.
