Our educational project

IB: Un modelo de futuro

IB: a model for the future

Agora Sant Cugat International School has become part of the exclusive group of schools offering the IB Continuum. The International Baccalaureate® (IB) offers a curriculum that is universally accepted by higher education institutions throughout the world. Each programme is adapted to the educational needs of each level and, as such, does not receive the same name in all stages. Primary students focus on acquiring sufficient skills and knowledge in the PYP (Primary Years Programme) to move on to the MYP (Middle Years Programme) in Secondary where, in addition to continuing to strengthen students’ abilities, prepares students to face the IB Diploma Programme requirements

We prepare our students for an international future without limits or barriers offering a multilingual educational project with linguistic immersion beyond English and enables students to master the official local languages together with English, French, German or Chinese. In addition, students can obtain official qualifications from the Trinity College London and Cambridge University (English), the Goethe Institut (German), the Confucius Institute (Chinese) and the DELF (French).

Música y expresión

STEAM: Science and Arts

Art and Science through STEAM abilities (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics) is a teaching approach that encourages group work and the integration of highly related skills. Music and Expressive Arts are key to the integral development of children and provide enormous cognitive and personal benefits. Affiliated to the Liceu Conservatory, Agora Sant Cugat offers the possibility for students to obtain the Liceu Conservatory Basic Level Diploma, guaranteeing the completion of the entrance exam to the Professional Music Degree.

Deportes y salud

Sports and Health

Sport is an integral part of our curriculum, instilling healthy habits in our students and fostering values such as perseverance, teamwork and self-improvement. The School’s 13,715m² facilities include an artificial grass football field, four sports courts and two gymnasiums. In addition, Infant and Primary students have a weekly swimming session. A variety of sporting events organised by the School and the Globeducate group throughout the academic year complement the sport’s curriculum.

Shaping the world

Shaping the World

Children entering education today will graduate as young adults in 2030. We must prepare them for jobs and technologies that do not exist today, to solve problems that have not yet been foreseen. We encourage our students to take charge and shape their own future: we want them to be global citizens who can shape the world.
