Agora Sant Cugat International School, the best private school in Catalonia

For yet another year, Agora Sant Cugat International School has been ranked as the best school in Catalonia in the rankings of “The 100 Best Schools in Spain” by El Mundo and El Español.    

In the 26th “Best Schools in Spain” ranking by El Mundo, Agora Sant Cugat International School has remained as the best private school in Catalonia and placed in 7th position nationally. The School was awarded 96 points out of a possible 100 - 37 points out of 39 for its teaching model, 33 points out of 34 for its educational offer and 26 points out of 27 for its material resources. Thanks to being authorised to teach the three International Baccalaureate programmes, presenting the new International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme in Performing Arts and with the renovations of its buildings, the School continues to offer students a quality education that promotes academic excellence, skills and competencies, values and a global perspective. 

“The 100 Best Schools in Spain” ranking is a benchmark in the education sector, the result of a meticulous assessment carried out by specialised journalists who meticulously analyse more than a thousand schools. This process involves the application of 27 criteria in areas such as the teaching model (educational model, external recognition and quality standards), the educational offer (languages, teaching staff, activities and results) and the material resources (number of students per classroom and per teacher, spaces, facilities and services). 

In the 9th “El Español” ranking, Agora Sant Cugat International School has been placed in tenth position and also recognised as the best school in Catalonia. This ranking highlights aspects such as pedagogical innovation, international projection and the methodologies used. Thanks to our academic excellence and innovation, Agora Sant Cugat International School has been in the top 10 best schools in Spain for more than 15 years.
