“El Mundo” Ranking 2024

In the recent 25th edition of the ranking "The 100 best schools in Spain", Agora Sant Cugat International School has reaffirmed its outstanding position in the ranking. Once again, we are proud to maintain our position as the best public school in Catalonia and to occupy sixth place nationally, according to this study carried out by the newspaper El Mundo. 

This recognition is the result of the hard work of our entire educational community, students, teachers, families and non-teaching staff, over the years. We are deeply grateful to the families for their trust, to the staff for their dedication and, especially, to our students for being the driving force behind our constant search for innovation and excellence.

The ranking "The 100 best schools in Spain" is a benchmark in the education sector, the result of a meticulous evaluation carried out by specialised journalists, who meticulously analyse more than a thousand schools. This process involves the application of 27 criteria in areas such as the teaching model (educational model, external recognition, quality standards), the educational offer (languages, teaching staff, activities, results) and the material resources (number of students per classroom and per teacher, spaces, facilities, services). 

This year, Agora Sant Cugat International School once again obtained an outstanding score of 96 out of 100: 37 points out of 39 for our teaching model, 33 points out of 34 for our educational offer and 26 points out of 27 for our material resources, thanks to being a school authorised to teach the three International Baccalaureate programmes and having a music project with the Liceo Conservatory's seal of quality.
