XII International Music Festival in Sant Cugat

For another year, several schools from the Globeducate group have joined together musically to celebrate our well-known International Music Festival, an event in which music transcends borders and culture, characterised by diversity and harmony. This time, Agora Sant Cugat International School had the honour of being the host school for this great event which took place at the Teatre-Auditori in Sant Cugat.   

More than 250 students from Globeducate schools from eight countries, together with their teachers, demonstrated their talent and musical skills in a solidarity concert entitled "Heal the World", which was inspired by the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. This solidarity initiative aimed to support the construction of a school in the Turkana region of Kenya. 

For several days, all the students lived this unique international experience in which, as well as rehearsing for the big day, they shared knowledge and cultures, developed a great team spirit and forged new friendships among many other things.  

Our Headmaster, Jordi Ros, expressed his pride at having been part of the organisation of this event, sharing that it was a great honour for Agora Sant Cugat International School to host and organise the 12th International Globeducate Music Festival, which was an exceptional educational experience for the 250 students and for the whole Agora Sant Cugat International School community. 

Our students, such as Miquel and Valentina, agree that this event has been a great experience for them, enjoying the rehearsals, the concert, the happy faces of the audience and their classmates.   

Without a doubt, the whole Agora Sant Cugat International School community will remember this day as the day when music filled the auditorium and the hearts of all of us who were there, as well as those who enjoyed the concert on streaming.
