Facilities

We know that the environment is very important for our pupils. The centre is a place where children spend a lot of time every day and where they should feel as comfortable as in their own home. At the same time, we take care of the details so that parents can be calm and secure in the conviction that their children are in the right and ideal place for their learning. The school has multiple spaces, all adapted and equipped according to the age and needs of the children in the school. Come into the school and discover all our facilities!

At Agora Sant Cugat, Agora Patufet and Agora Pipo there are Infant Education classrooms to ensure the correct development of the pupils’ abilities and skills, to offer learning which suits the different paces at which the pupils grow and evolve. We also have specific classrooms with the necessary material to carry out our educational project: psychomotricity, music, computer, psycho-pedagogy, unfolding or art classrooms. 

Our ICT classrooms are the interactive digital environment necessary to improve our pupils’ learning, and are equipped with digital boards, tablets, and netbooks, which enable the students both to work by themselves and develop their teamwork skills. The use of new technologies in the classroom is essential to offer pupils an up-to-date and innovative education, and apply new methodologies which improve their motivation and strengthen their skills.

In the laboratories, our pupils have the instruments and materials available to them to learn through experiments, and put the content and techniques learnt in each subject into practice. For this purpose, we have Technology and Robotics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology laboratories.

Sport is a fundamental part of the children’s comprehensive education, and boosts their personal and intellectual development. Sporting activities help with their socialisation and become a fulfilling way to learn the different values inherent to sport, such as self-improvement, solidarity and camaraderie.

The school’s facilities take up 13,715 m2 which means that there is space for a wide range of sporting activities in some marvellous surroundings. All the spaces have the necessary equipment for each of the sports on offer, and are adapted to the needs of the pupils.

Agora Sant Cugat International School’s main objective is to encourage the pupils to acquire sporting habits, to accept the rules, and to learn the ins-and-outs of each sport. To sum up, we want to facilitate their sports education with the help of teachers who specialise in each of the different sports offered at the school.

Lastly, we also have agreements with outside facilities such as the CN Rubí swimming pool, where the pupils can swim and participate in competitions.

The school has a large auditorium which, as well as being a characteristic element of the school, is the culmination of our music project and ties with the Liceu Conservatory. Equipped with the latest technology, it is an ideal place for all types of music activities, conferences, theatre performances, debates, educational events, etc.

With seating for 380 people, there are also dressing rooms equipped with televisions to follow the action on stage, a grand piano, projector and screen, sound system, and all the equipment necessary for every activity which takes place there. Thanks to this superb auditorium, the pupils perform in front of our community like true professionals, improving their skills and displaying everything they have learnt.

The Josep Carreras auditorium is a superb space which the entire Agora Sant Cugat International School community can enjoy!

The library is where pupils acquire knowledge, enjoy experiences and cultures, and above all, are encouraged to build up a passion for reading. It is a necessary and vital resource to complete classroom learning with reference books and give answers to our pupils’ curiosity.

So that our pupils learn by experimenting and discovering their surroundings, the school has a vegetable garden and weather station where pupils study the environment and learn from nature.
